If your insurance plan covers acupuncture, please verify your benefits before arriving for your appointment. Kelly at Zen Shen or Karen at Advanced Acupuncture will also do her best to verify your coverage, but since insurance can be involved, it's helpful if we work together to ensure you have coverage.

At the time of service, you are responsible for your insurance co-pay, the cost of any additional modalities used during your appointment, and any additional amounts your insurance does not cover.

If your insurance suddenly does not pay for your treatment (due to a lapse in coverage, high deductible, or any other reason) you are responsible for the balance. If you plan to bill out-of-network, you will be asked to pay for the session at the time of service and will be sent a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
